Chainsaw Man Author Tatsuki Fujimoto's  1-Shot Manga "Look Back" Gets Anime Film adaptation will be released in Japan on June 28. 
A teaser, website and visual have been unveiled.


Kiyotaka Oshiyama is in charge of direction, screenplay and character designs. He is known for his previous work “Flip Flappers”.


Fujimoto published this one-shot manga in June 2021 and got over 2.5 million views in only one day. Originally published in the Shonen Jump +, it was later also published digitally.
The synopsis is:
 

The overly confident Fujino and the shut-in Kyomoto couldn't be more different, but a love of drawing manga brings these two small-town girls together. A poignant story of growing up and moving forward that only Tatsuki Fujimoto, the creator of Chainsaw Man, could have crafted.
