Prototype Production: Nendo Seijin (RYO)

From the anime Kaiju No. 8, the colossal kaiju, which recorded a fortitude level of 9.8, joins the Mega Sofubi series! Including its horns, this figure has been brought to life in a huge size of about 53 cm in total length. The prototype is crafted by Nendo Seijin (RYO), an expert in dinosaur and creature modeling. With a simple but powerful pose of a clenched fist facing its enemy, this figure fully captures the strength and uniqueness of the character's origins. The detailing of its jet-black body meticulously recreates the texture of the scaly outer skin on its chest and shoulders, the carapace covering its limbs and sides, and even the distinct muscle fibers visible through the gaps. The paintwork is carefully arranged to enhance the large size of the figure, with fine shading applied to accentuate the skull-like face and the protrusions along its spine. The vivid blue lines running across its body are painted to give the impression of energy surging out from within.
