Have you heard about Hachiko ?
it is the story of a loyal Shiba Inu dog who waited for its deceased master everyday in front of the train station for him to come back from work.
The story became quite famous in Japan or even abroad and numerous manga or movies were produced.
One of the most famous is the statue of Hachiko (or Hachi) in Shibuya. It became a famous meeting spot local and a symbol for the city.
It is why Shibuya's City Tourism Association is going to produce an anime of their mascot ! It will be called SHIBUYA ♡ Hachi (pronounced Shibuya Love Hachi).
The anime will premiere in April for the 100th birthday of the dog. The story will follow Hachi in present day Shibuya as he has fun with his friends !
