Everyone remembers sculptor Ken Kawanishi's (Grimrock!) 2003 "Grimrock! Edition Ayanami & Asuka " interpretation of the classic heroines.

Just as "Rebuild of Evangelion " is a new interpretation of "Neon Genesis Evangelion, " so too is the "Evangelion Grimlock! PLUS " series project a 2022 reimagining of those famous figures. Like Asuka from Volume 1, illustrator Mojarin has updated Rei's design, while sculptor Ryuntaro (RyunRyunTei) has brought her to life.

She's been devised to have as few parts as possible to make assembly and painting easy for newcomers. The mold color is light beige.

This light beige tone is used exclusively for Rei and, as you can see from the example, looks great even unpainted,.

Beginners don't need to worry, since eye decals and easy-to-understand instructions are included.
