Japan Culture Stock (JSC)

The live-action adaptation of the TV anime and manga OSHI NO KO, penned by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, is set to premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. The series, consisting of 8 episodes, will debut on November 28th, followed by a continuation movie hitting theaters on December 20th. The announcement comes alongside a teaser visual, trailer, and detailed staff information.

OSHI NO KO launched in April 2020 and is published by Shueisha in the seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump. The series currently includes 13 volumes with over 15 million copies in print. The English edition is published by Yen Press.

Based on the award-winning manga written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, OSHI NO KO garnered significant fan interest following its premiere and quickly became the #1 series launch in HIDIVE’s history.
