Warner Bros. Japan and WIT Studio Introduce New Original Anime Series "Suicide Squad ISEKAI" Based on the famous team from DC.

In a recent announcement during Anime Expo, Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio revealed their collaboration on an exciting new anime series titled "Suicide Squad ISEKAI." This series is set in a fantastical world and features iconic DC characters such as Harley Quinn, The Joker, and members of the Suicide Squad.

According to Warner Bros Japan, the story will be as follows:

DC's Harley Quinn, the Joker, and The Suicide Squad rampage onto the stage of ISEKAI* in the new original anime series from Warner Bros. Japan and Wit Studio, Suicide Squad ISEKAI. The most maddening worlds collide in an epic and violent fantasy with the strongest line-up of anime creators!
*ISEKAI means “another world”, which is now one of the most popular genres for Japanese anime.

The story follows DC's beloved characters as they enter a parallel universe, embarking on epic adventures filled with action and fantasy. Directed by Eri Osada and written by Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara, known for their work on "Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-" and "Vivy Prototype," respectively, the anime promises a thrilling narrative.

The announcement also highlighted the creative team behind the series, including manga artist Akira Amano for character designs and Kenichiro Suehiro for music composition. Wit Studio's involvement, known for its acclaimed productions like "Attack on Titan" and "The Ancient Magus' Bride," further adds to the anticipation for "Suicide Squad ISEKAI."

Fans can look forward to this innovative take on DC's universe, with the potential for more exciting projects in the future if the anime proves successful.
