Although I think it is a very valuable item, there are some parts of the plating that have aged over 30 years (small peeling), so if you are looking for a perfect item, please refrain from purchasing.

There are no cracks or chips on the body.

The silver paint on the back of the body is peeling off in the same place on all gold-plated Avante bodies, so I think it's original.
