The staff of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation II, the second season of the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime series, unveiled a new promotional video and a fresh key visual for the upcoming "Teleportation Labyrinth" arc.
The new arc is set to kick off on May 26, marking an exciting development for fans of the series.
The ongoing season premiered on April 7 at 24:00 JST on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 channels, with additional broadcasts on Sun TV. It will span two cours, with the first half debuting on Tokyo MX on July 2, 2023, followed by the second half airing from April to June 2024. Crunchyroll is streaming each episode as it airs, and viewers can expect a total of 25 episodes for the season.
Several changes in the production team have been noted, including Hiroki Hirano taking over as director at Studio Bind for the first cours, and Ryōsuke Shibuya stepping in as director for the second cours. Toshiya Ono has also replaced the series script supervisor for the second season.
Fans can look forward to new character designs by Sanae Shimada and Yoshiko Saitō, along with the return of key staff members such as art director Masakazu Miyake and composer Yoshiaki Fujisawa. The opening theme "On the Frontline" is performed by rock band Hitorie.
