The visual of Joker features striking words on his jacket, which roughly translate to "violence laughter demon tribe" and "clown of demons, folly, and naught."

The anime will be highlighted at the "Bats in Translation" panel during New York Comic-Con on October 17 at 3:00 p.m. EDT.

Voice Cast Includes:

Kōichi Yamadera as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Kengo Kawanishi as Red Robin
Daisuke Ono as Nightwing
Akira Ishida as Red Hood
Hōchū Ohtsuka as Alfred
Masaki Terasoma as Gordon
Junpei Mizusaki, the director behind Batman Ninja and producer of the opening animations for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, will return to direct the film alongside Shinji Takagi. Kamikaze Douga, the studio responsible for the original Batman Ninja animation, is back on board for the project. Key staff from Batman Ninja are also returning, including scriptwriter Kazuki Nakashima, character designer Takashi Okazaki, and composer Yūgo Kanno.

Batman Ninja, originally released digitally by Warner Bros. in April 2018 and on home video in May 2018, followed Batman as he traveled back to Japan's Warring States period to battle villains who had become feudal lords. The film made its Japanese theater debut in June 2018 and aired on Toonami in October 2021.

A manga adaptation by Masato Hisa was serialized in Monthly Hero's from June 2018 to September 2019, and it won the Seiun Award in 2020. The anime also inspired a stage play that premiered in November 2021.
